Android,one of the fastest growing mobile OS is now fast approaching the 250 million mark with nearly 7,00,000 activations per day.
If it keeps on growing at this rate it'll soon become like the already existing JAVA OS which is dominating the mobile world.This information is based on the latest income report released by google.
Lately Apple has released that a total of 253 million iOS apps have been activated but that cannot be taken for a comparison because that number include all the ipads,ipods with the iphones. Moreover iOS is in this world actively being for many years !
The iOS app that are activated daily is ramping at a rate of 190,000 per day including iphones ,ipads , ipods Etc :-
Both these companies are playing a leapfrog race releasing updates of how much they have sold till.
These big companies apple and google are now competing for a first place.
So as each of these releases updates of their earlier version with a large REVOLUTIONIZING FEATURES like the Siri in iOS 5 and a cool and fast interface in the Android 4.0
