How does a 4D movie work

We are now popular with what is called 3D 'coz thousands of 3D films are being released recently.
Now let me say what are the 3 dimensions that we can see really in our 3D films with a 3D glass they are the normal 2D dimensions LENGTH and BREADTH  and one new viewing dimension that is DEPTH.These 3 D's comprise what is called 3D.

According to physics there are actually no limits for the number of Dimensions that means that you can have INFINITE DIMENSIONS that we can have.But practically to a human's eye we can just see the 3DIMENSIONS.

So,how does 4D work ?


Actually the movie makers have decided to give the audience a new FEEL NOT DIMENSION .So in the new 4D films like the "Shrek 4D", "Honey i shrunk the audience 4D", "Pirates","Haunted lighthouse 4D".

These films give the audience a new experience with the SMELL,WATER SPRAY,ODOUR,RAIN,SNOW,VIBRATION effects inside the cinema theaters.

For example if there is s a scene in the film in which it is raining water will be sprayed by seats on which you sit. If there is a scary scene then your seat vibrates to give a new effect!
